have u got some ebay stuff of these CDs? (except for Bad Dude in Love) no, sorry... I don't think that Rare Trax tape ever even made it to eBay... same goes for that t-shirt (which can be read about in that flyer that comes with the Bad Dude album) THE BLUES: E recently performed Skip James' "Little Cow And Calf Is Gonna Die Blues" for Martin Scorsese's PBS documentary The Blues, a six part documentary to air in the fall of 2003. I actually did the liner notes for the dutch version of the dvd box that had all the different episodes of this series in it. Nothing too fancy, I just had to translate the original English liner notes and give a 'dutch' feel to it. Anyway, I really don't recall E being on the documentaries at all. He was most likely to be (I guess) in the Wim Wenders episode, but you never know... Maybe I should take the time one day to watch the entire series. It's supposed to be really good! Aaah... lack of time!

That does exist. Yeah, this bloody LP. I watched it for like 4 days and then the guy pulls it and wont tell me why. I even made a tentative offer of £400 for the thing!!!! Grrrr! Private pressing, not many around. Now begins the waiting game!

Going off topic I know ... but I've never understood why OWABM goes for so much.

Bert, I don't think all the money in the world could buy us that LP. Looks like the Eels management were faster again. I think, in the future, when someone sees some rare jewel, he or she should convince the seller to sell it immediately before Vagrant or whoever can stop the auction.

I think, in the future, when someone sees some rare jewel, he or she should convince the seller to sell it immediately before Vagrant or whoever can stop the auction. well... we already tried that one with both License To Eel and the Trashing The Cathedral tape... in the last case the seller even made it to Jeannie's Diary where he (to say the least) did not make many friends ;-) Also, most sellers don't like to abort auctions on eBay. I know I don't at least... If someone tries to stop one of my auctions by offering a high amount of money, I usually take the gamble and leave it on eBay anyway. 9 out of 10 times the money for which the item sells exeeds what the person trying to stop the auction has bid.

he he he.. I also have a signed copy... from back in the days that they were actually happy to have fansites around but I tend to enjoy unsigned copies better, so I bought another one at a gig... like the Fokke and Sukke cartoon "Oh no, he ruined our beautiful book by scribbling on it with a black marker!!"
