p.s Lost finale next wednesday, yuumm. Prepare to be impatient. How long do you have to wait for season 2? The cliffhanger is a bitch. Oh, and when season 2 starts prepare to be disappointed. You mean "disappointed by the solution to the cliffhanger" or "disappointed by season 2"? I like season 2. Not as much as season 1 but still. I think it's a lot more "theoretical", there are more conversations focusing on the "coincidence or fate" factor. I like that. It gives me the feeling the writers know where they're headed while in season 1 I felt quite often they were just throwing new clues at us without any pre-established goal. Now I have the feeling all this is leading somewhere. And Mr. Eko's just a joy to behold. *drools*

I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil it, but um, I started disliking it with the third episode of Season 2. They started getting away from all the weirdness of the island in season 1, and also I don't like that there are a lot of characters that you only see for like 3 seconds per episode.

So Lost isn't the greatest show ever after all, and this goes to show that you can't judge the quality of a show off one season. Although, I have been making plans to set aside a day or so to watch all the first season when i've finished my exams, seeing as I shouldn't really bitch about something I've only seen half a dozen times, but if it results in me taking my own life, you'll be responsible.

ITs getting better again. Sophmore slump. Everyone is entitled to it. And ha! you're a closet lost lover, admit it!!!!

I've never even started to watch lost because the story seemed déjà-vu. And the sopranos are pretty cool but not as fun as six feet under.

I don't know that any of you have watched this show, but Boston Legal was hysterical last night! Bill Shatner and James Spader never fail to amuse me! Last night: Denny Crane: "Excuse me Alan, I have to be alone with my camera phone. It should take about 15 minutes" meh, you probably had to be there... Edit: I forgot to mention that Michael J. Fox was the guest star last night. I'm sad to say it appears his Parkinson's has advanced significantly, especially with his speech.

I think Boston Legal is on one of the many digital channels I don't get over here (ITV3 or 4 at a guess), so I've never seen it, although I hear Mr Shatner is meant to be quite good in it. I just watched the first 2 episodes of the new series of The OC (instead of revising ), oh my, I had forgotten how absolutely fantastic it is, and how attractive Summer is. Edit: I forgot to mention that Michael J. Fox was the guest star last night. I'm sad to say it appears his Parkinson's has advanced significantly, especially with his speech.

Apparently he's feeling well enough to consider another sequel to Back to the Future. He'll only do it if he can play Doc though. www.imdb.com/name/nm0000150/news

I noticed in the article below that one that he's rarely seen in public due to the advancing of the disease. This is a loss for all of us As you can tell, I'm a MJF fan. ERIS tonight is LOST night

Not bad episode last night. Nice to see them getting back to basics. I won't say more than that as I don't want to spoil things for Sadie.
Sadie, you might as well download season 2. The conclusion to the cliffhanger is all that's good in the first half of season 2 (IMO). Its picking back up though.

So, I just wanted to give Lost is due props for winning a Golden Globe for best drama series last night. But these two voices have been arguing in my head. It hurts. Mwuahahah, you should really rub it in that Lost won last night. No, a simple, I'm really happy for Lost for winning is sufficient. Who won? What was that? Who did you say won again? *sigh* You know Lost won, why must you be so gloaty about it? So Lost won? Not West Wing? Wait was West Wing even nominated? No, West Wing wasn't even nominated. Please stop being so horrid. What about Sopranos? Were they even nominated? You know Sopranos isn't even in production right now, quit it, you dreadful little man. What about Scrubs? Anything for them in the best comedy series? *Sigh* no. I heard that other show about the President won an Golden Globe for best actor? You sure that wasn't West Wing? I mean, West Wing must be pretty bad if it lost out to a show about a WOMAN president, especially one that just started. Yes, that was Geena Davis. Now stop this. I'm not speaking to you anymore. I'm so sorry you all had to witness that ugliness. Congratulations to Lost, the greatest show in the list I have provided you. ;D

Meh, I'm slightly feeling the effect of alcohol too much to give a decent response, oh other than mentioning that as seasons progress it is probably harder to win awards so if we look back to when west wing was in it's second season it had won 2 golden globes (and had been nominated for 8), but hey, 1 win/ 4 nominations is good too. Should I mention the difference in emmy wins too, hmm...nah, i'll leave it for you to figure out ;D Aside from the petty West Wing/Lost bitching this result has amused me: Actress In A TV Series - Musical Or Comedy # Marcia Cross - Desperate Housewives # Teri Hatcher - Desperate Housewives # Felicity Huffman - Desperate Housewives # Eva Longoria - Desperate Housewives # MARY-LOUISE PARKER - WEEDS (winner) Oh, and anyone else think it's odd Soparanos has been leading this poll, yet no one other than tucker has mentioned it? *raises eyebrow* (Just joking tucker) Scrubs always gets looked over at awards time, although Zach Braff has started getting nominations I think.

yes, and you know what it is with awards! It's like musical awards! The ones who win are always the best in quality

Some of the awards handed out look suspiciously like "We're sorry" awards. Like George Clooney being rewarded for "Syriana". Granted, I haven't seen "Syriana" but I think he only got that award because everybody voted for "Brokeback Mountain" instead of "Good Night, And Good Luck". Same goes for Sarah Jessica Parker IMHO. Seems like the jury thought they couldn't single out one of the Desperate Housewives because one winning and the others not winning would probably spark off WWIII. So they gave SJP the award instead, and the four ladies all received the same honor of being nominated . . .
