What do you mean exactly? You haven't heard of the shooting? Or of Agca being a free man? Or of the conspiracy theory?

Apparantly I'm just really unobservant as it was mentioned when he died according to maple, I must have missed it.

At least there was a little excitement.

Yeh, I remember the waiting and the watching the smoke, just not any talk of a previous assassination attempt. This has me pretty amused , even if it's not the sort of craziness I meant in the title, stupid Mr Prescott, although i guess it's marginally better than hitting members of the public.

Are you saying you never knew that Pope John Paul II was shot? Is that what you are saying? Tell me that is not what you are saying. Surely not. SBJ!! Either I am old as rocks or...well, I guess this means I'm as old as rocks. Not only did I know it, but I knew it within minutes of it happening. also, pasty didnt you notice the weeks on tv waiting fort hem to elect a new pope.. just watching the vatican... watching for smoke.... zzzzzz hehe. now all the in between stuff I didn't care for, but watching for the white smoke - I liked that. Just lucky it happened so fast this time. I'm not catholic but I'm prolly as close as you can get without actually being one. This doesn't mean I agree with all things Catholic because that is certainly not true. For instance, I don't particularly care for the new Pope, but I did like John Paul II and there is lots of juicy history behind the Papal throne. I mean LOTS!!!

Serves him right for throwing the mouse in the fire while it was ALIVE! Reminds me of the Darwin Awards.

I have that weird feeling of deja-vu, was this elsewhere? Anyway, the "see also" bits on there are quite amusing too, although the "Marathon" Mouse is surely only a step or two away from sort of super mouse that could be used for evil.

Can you believe there are 227 results for the phrase "Masturbatory nutcrackers" on Google?
This is crazy news.

"I still can't believe he's gone. I know I'll get over Suzy, but I don't think I'll ever get over Ziggy."
Maybe this is what prompted her to have the affair in the first place.
