CATHOLIC PARROTS >> >>A lady goes to her priest one day and tells him. "Father, I have a >>problem. I have two female parrots, but they only >know how to say one thing." >> >>"What do they say?" the priest inquired. They say, "Hi, we're hookers! Do >>you want to have some fun?" "That's obscene!" the priest exclaimed, Then >>he thought for a moment. >> >>"You know," he said, "I may have a solution to your problem. I have two >>male talking parrots, which I have taught to >pray and read the Bible. >> >>Bring your two parrots over to my house, and we'll put them in the cage >with Francis and Peter. >>My parrots can teach your parrots to praise and worship, and your parrots >>are sure to stop >saying that phrase in no time." >> >>"Thank you," the woman responded, "this may very well be the solution." >> >>The next day, she brought her female parrots to the priest's house. As he >>ushered her in, she saw that his two male parrots were >inside their cage holding rosary beads and praying. >> >>Impressed, she walked over and placed her parrots in with them. I just watched the last half of perhaps the most delightfully bad movie ever, it was called "Atomic Twister", oh, so very bad, yet so very enjoyable.

I like maple's karma number I would like it to be known that this was done completely without any knowledge on my part and I did not coerce any member of staff into adjusting said number. I am currently liking my impending move from a single bed into a double bed.

Heeeehheee. It's a pity they only have one tombstone to put your text on. (heeehee) @billy: It was a close, close, very close victory. Higgins was 0:60 behind in the last and decisive frame, and then he cleared the table. The last black decided who would win. He had missed a few obvious shots in prior frames, so the tension was very, very high. And when he potted it, he raised a fist. One could tell, Mister O wanted the earth to open up and swallow him. He wanted to get out of the arena so badly, I almost felt sorry for him. He managed to say a few words about the new sponsor and thanking the fans for showing up and about Higgins playing well all day. But one could tell the only honest statement he made was when he said "The lucky bastard!". He thought he deserved to win. And he would've. If it hadn't been for that last black ball!! Heeeeheee. I love John Higgins. I don't understand a word he's saying with his thick Scottish accent but I love him!

Damnit, it's this kind of thing that makes me wish I had a TV. Oh well, I'll have to see if any of my friends want to let me use theirs to watch the World Championships. Higgins looks like such a nice chap, he deserves to win more often than he does.

I wanted to put this in the Random Crazy News thread, but I'm not sure it qualifies as Random or Crazy. I do like it though, and I think Pasty will be pleased as well, if not others of you. . . . Magnum P.I. coming to big screenI'm guessing it won't be Tom Selleck.

This has been on the back-burner for quite sometime, along with an A-Team movie rumour, but it's nice to get some more definite story. Oh, did anyone see the rumours about there being new episodes of friends? I'm glad they've been denied now (if only temporarily), it's clear a stupid idea (well, in my opinion anyway), and would just end up leading them down the Only fools and horses road.

I like finding out that there's a new Sharpe mini series in production at the moment. Yay for Sean Bean being a good guy again.
I just looked through the imdb, and found this amusing snipper of info:

That is spooky, I saw one of the O2 adverts before and was only thinking about how nice his Sheffield voice is. My mum will be pleased by this news, she fancies him.

I think everyone's mum fancies him, along with Marti Pellow.
I like falling asleep to My Bloody Valentine, and waking up to Nick Drake.

I like that Emma (housemate) passed her Maths exam, which I helped her revise for, which means I am due for some good karma. Going back to Sean Bean, of course your mum fancies him, just look at him: Oh, and more trivia: That bastard Harrison Ford, I'd have kicked his ass, Sean probably did actually.

I think everyone's mum fancies him, along with Marti Pellow. Who in their right minds fancies Marti Pellow? Yuk. Edit: Uuuh, I just googled him and noticed he cut his hair. Granted, with the short hair he's not half bad. I just clicked on the new "spoiler" thingy on behindthechurch's new board. I like it! You can turn the spoiler text on and off again. That's a great innovation!

The first snowfall arrived last night, right after I arrived home from work, about 9:30PM. Flurries, really, but still cool to watch as they fluttered down, pretty thick, and stuck on the cars and trees.

I like the sound radiators make when they are just coming on in the morning (or indeed, any other time of the day). The clicking sound as they heat up. Cosy.

The first snowfall arrived last night, right after I arrived home from work, about 9:30PM. Flurries, really, but still cool to watch as they fluttered down, pretty thick, and stuck on the cars and trees. Finally, someone who is enjoying the snow you lot got. Everyone else I have seen from the Chicago/Wisconsin area is bitching about it. Losers. I love snow. Which we never get. I like that I ordered 2 CDs last night, Turin Brakes-Jackinabox and Mull Historical Society-Loss. Jackinabox should be here Tuesday, but I had to buy Loss from one of those New/Used vendor people, so it won't be here till end of next week. I'm going shopping this weekend for a new jacket. I need one badly, the one I wear now is older than I care to admit. This is what happens when you hate shopping.
