Billy and the Lithuanian brown guk. That's a love affair, right there. Lithuanian brown guk. Prolly some kind of bread or something but I imagined it as sticky and worthy of a hash pipe.

Excuse me if it's forward, but did you meet Sam through here or the other way around? I'm sure it was beforehand, but I'm just checking in case there's another we can add to the list.

I Live in Dworp. But that probably won't make you any wiser. Dworp is located between Halle, Sint-Genesius-Rode and sint-Pieters-Leeuw. So it's rather near to brussels. But I'll probably get "een kot" next year. So I'll be living next to the vub. Oh and the underpants are cool. It was gift from me to my girlfriend after the show in Antwerp. (God I hope she will never watch this forum with that avatar )

I'm going by train every day, it's just a half an hour. But if my collegehours are bad then I have to stay in Ghent, because my parents don't allow me to go on "kot", being a young girl in a "dangerous city". I still have a few months to decide.. It's just easier to go to Vlekho to find a job faster. And a whole week so far away from Niels would be terribly hard.. Which brings us back on topic

I didn't go on "kot" this year and I have regretted it alot. I missed a lot of cool things. But you should decide that for yourself. If you feel good at home then it might be a good thing to study at home.

And the greatest thing is that these internet romances haven't ended up with one of them finding out the other is a 52 year old pervert. I assume anyway. Unless of course, that was known all along - not pointing the finger or anything. No, I'm really not! I am happy for y'all.

I'm doing my fourth year now and I never been "op kot" (omg people must wonder what the hell we're talking about, I'm sure there's a good term for it anyway ), and I don't really regret it much... Why would I make my parents pay loads of money if I get good grades this way anyway? It takes me about an hour to get from my front door to my school including half an hour by train , but I like travelling in a train. I have a big room here with computer and everything I need, as long as my family don't make too much noise it's no problem to study. It seems to me even that people who study at home have more chance to succeed, because some of the others go out too much in the week. I prefer to go out in the weekends, and I don't have much uni friends. Good thing you're staying home Liesbet I won't have to miss you too much

It depends on what is you're situation at home. In my case it probably would have been better being "op kot" because I don't really get allong with my parents. They can annoy me very much. Also I lose about 2 hours every day for going and coming back from uni. And it's also good for becoming a bit more independant. But like I said you should make that decision for your own.

I don't think we have an "internet relationship". I mean, we met on the internet, but our relationship itself is very in real life Yeah, people think you're a desperate nerd when you've met your girlfriend on the internet, but I don't see why it's anything better to meet in a bar than on an eels message board ;D

I think internet loves have a bad name because people automatically think you have been searching on datingsites and chat boxes and so on...
I don't think we would have ever fallen in love in a bar, it's not like you have eels kind of conversations there to start with..

I saw once at uni a guy wearing an mc honky T-shirt. If it had been a girl then I would have talked to her. But it was a guy, so I didn't bother
